Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's

What do I need to bring with my dog?

  1. Your dog
  2. A COPY of his/her vet records for this year for our files
  3. Your dog's current food
  4. If in our training program:
A list of your dog's behavioral problems
A summary of goals you would like us to accomplish
A deposit for the first week

How about his leash, bowls, bed or favorite toy?

We prefer to use all our own stainless steel bowls, bedding, and toys. This way yours do not get destroyed, especially by your dog's playmates. We use all of our own training equipment. We will keep your ID collar on your dog, but also put on one of our kennel ID collars as well. You are welcome to bring treats, but please no raw hide bones.

What does my dog do while at your kennels?

We have quite an agenda for your dog during his stay with us. We start with an 8am feeding. Then we allow the dogs to exercise for about 45 minutes and romp and play with the pack while the kennels are getting cleaned and disinfected. The dogs return to their runs fairly tired, and we like to "buddy" up dogs so that they can have a playmate for the afternoon. Next we begin our private one-on-one lessons throughout the day for those dogs here in any of our training programs, or even those just here for a refresher during their boarding stay. In the late afternoon, dogs are exercised again for 45 minutes, then fed. They are let out again one last time in the evening and given a treat before bed.

When can I drop off and/or pick up my dog?

Our hours are weekdays from 7am to 5pm, soon to be 6pm. All drop off and pickups on Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only from 8am to 12 noon. Lessons run any time by appointment. You are not charged for that day if pick up is in the morning or drop off is in the evening.

Can you administer my dog's medication(s)?

Of course. We are a full service facility and feel this is included in the care we provide for your dog. Always include a written document on your dog's correct dosage amount, times, and reason for the medication.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit cards
