Elsie was purchased initially as my hunting dog. When she was a pup it was clear that she was an execptional Shorthair and very correct in conformation as well as beauty and self confidence. Lori Mowery handled her in the show ring and Elsie quickly got her conformation Championship in only 5 months. At 1.5 years Elsie showed at the Garden at the 2008 Westminster Dog Show.
Elsie began her hunt test training as a pup, and she cruised through her AKC Junior tests 4 in a row with high scores, then went another 4 in a row in Senior, and lastly went 6 passes out of 7 attempts at Master. She titled in Master at 2.5 years old. She was so impressive, consistent, stylish and biddable in the her field tests it was an honor to handle her.
Elsie is a beloved house pet, hunting dog and guide dog on several preserves, she is outstanding on wild birds, she is quite a natural retriever and she honors extremely well. Elise loves the water and duck hunting.
Her breeding to Josh will be a perfect compliment to produce outstanding healthy puppies that should carry on the wonderful lineage and talents of these two impressive dogs.

Josh truly proves by the titles he's earned what a versatile dog is. He has produced 16 breed champions to date along with multiple MH offspring, NAVHDA UT and NA prized pups. Josh's temperament is stellar and he throws that into his puppies. They are known for their happy, easy to train, stable temperaments.
